What the key adds: every entry rather than one per family, the depth inside each family, the export, and 500 calls a day instead of 5. Other harnesses are the same config as below with the Authorization header left off — the field guide has each one.

01design_context: The curated brief — references, human-written steal-notes, and a craft baseline — served to your agent over MCP, mid-build.
02list_families: The taxonomy with live entry counts, so the agent picks one direction instead of averaging them.
03search_steals: Full-text search across every steal-note — “what did we steal about footers?”, answered from the vault.
04Trovafile export: The same brief as a plain markdown file from /api/export, for any agent that reads files — filters ride as query params.

The fine print, in plain sight

Launch pricing: the launch window is the founding fifty — when key #50 sells, monthly goes to $49 list and annual to $490. Whatever rate you subscribe at holds for as long as you stay subscribed.
Metering: 500 billable calls per UTC day across MCP tool calls and the export — leak insurance for a key pasted somewhere public, not a ceiling a human hits. Handshake and tool discovery are free.
The free slice: keyless callers reach the same three tools, restricted to one canonical entry per family across the 5 deepest, at 5 calls a day. list_families is never restricted — you can always see the full size of what you are not being shown.
Key recovery: the post-checkout page re-shows your key on every revisit — keep its URL. Lost both? Have it re-sent to the address you paid with.
What it never buys: the raw corpus (vault.json) is owner-only at any price. The corpus is the moat; the taste is what's for rent.
